Wheelchair Views Part One

Here I am in the store
Shopping can be such a chore

Aisles are too small
Can’t get down that one at all

There it is, now I see
I reach for it, precariously

It’s on the middle shelf
I should be able to get it myself

I try, but just can’t reach
Independence I beseech

I guess for help I should ask
Should be such an easy task

But from a wheelchair
Just can’t quite reach there

It could fall on my head
Something I’ve come to dread

Sorry, you I will harass
Myself, I will embarrass

To get it off the shelf
